We as a culture have steeped deep meaning into shapes, pictorials and animals both real and imagined. These archetypes––our culturally shaped perceptions and stereotypes––are the main subject of my work. When the viewer encounters my work I want them to think about themselves, remember their past and use these ideas to shape their future.
