The Uncanny

 A psychological experience of something as not simply mysterious, but creepy, often in a strangely familiar way.

My practice aims to understand and unravel human nature. My work masks the human and figures it in new ways; it both hides us and reveals our innermost essence. The depth with which humans feel is intense and hard to explain. I use memory, symbolism, and nostalgia to coax these feelings out of the viewer.
